    BIG SWAP SONGS


    To align with Fairtrades Big Swap activity within Fairtrade fortnight 2010 P&S Planned and executed a music campaign that involved creating an album of western mainstream contemporary hit songs in a Ghanaian Style The album was free to the consumer as a download or physical copy when they swapped Fairtrade products within Fairtrade fortnight.

    Cadburys Big Swap Songs album was fronted by multi platinum, award winning artist Paolo Nutini, and produced in Ghana by P&S.   The promotion was augmented with an ATL campaign featuring Paolo and the Big Ghana Band. Other tracks on the Big Swaps Songs Album include: Girls Aloud ‐ Sound of the Underground, Elbow - One Day Like This, EMF - Unbelievable,  Goldfrapp - Ooh La La.  

    The album came out on the P&S created Glass and a Half Full Records imprint. Cadburys own the masters of the music they created. The Album achieved 50,000 downloads in the two week Fairtrade Fortnight period and 20,000 Physical albums where also made available in key stores throughout the UK. Paolo’s album went back to Number 1 in the UK charts and Cadbury Dairy Milk was further cemented as a Fair Trade Brand.
