GRAND TOURS

P&S are a creative partner of the award winning British cycling brand Rapha.

P&S have worked with Rapha to integrate music credibly into their brand. The commercial result of this partnership has been to produce a series of high quality physical and digital albums that soundtrack road racing’s “Grand Tours”.

The first in this series was the Giro D’Italia album which featured tracks from the likes of Kano, Edoardo Bennato, Donatella Rettore, Tullio Di Piscopo, Paolo Conte and Lucio Battisti. The music was augmented with narration from Michael Jayston who provided the voice from the 1974 film about the Giro, The Greatest Show on Earth.


Second in the series was the Vuelta A Espana album featuring tracks from Antonio Molina, Duo Dinamico, El Fary and Jarabe de Palo. The creative that runs through the album charted the history of the Vuelta via extracts from the book Viva la Vuelta by Lucy Fallon and Adrian Bell.

Third in the series is the Le Tour album featuring tracks from Serge Gainsbourg, Jaques Dutronc, Pierre Henry, DJ Mehdi and Vitalic. Part of the official tour merchandise, Le Tour features exclusive commentary from Daniel Mangeas who has covered the Tour De France since 1974 and is well known for his encyclopedic knowledge of road racing.
